Before That Point

Around thirty. I guess I was thirty years old when I realized and accepted mentally - and physically as well - that I had to be out of control, to be in control of my life. Before that point in my life I always wanted to read today's newspaper completely. Check out all my e-mails. Finish all my work. Finish every book I started reading. It annoyed me immensely to see loose tiles in the pavement.

And since then? Since then I realize that nothing is perfect. That nothing ever will be perfect. Since then I go with the flow. Life is fleeting and will always fleet. My life. Life of 'homo sapiens'. Life of tree roots.
